Welcome back to Ring of Riley where I breakdown each segment and match on Ring of Honor. A recap of Nigel McGuinness talking about the war on S.C.U.M and the after effects it has caused. As we all know, Nigel had to vacate Jay Briscoe as the Ring of Honor World TV champion due to his ‘injuries’. Tonight we get the world title tournament matches. Fuck yes! We get Jay Lethal vs. Sonjay Dutt. Truth Martini and Mat Taven join Kevin Kelly on commentary.

Vinny Marseglia vs. Todd Hanson vs. Brian Fury vs. Kongo—this is a Four Corner Survival Proving ground match. The winner of this match gets to face Matt Taven. Three of the four men shake hands while Kongo goes to the apron. Marseglia and Fury start off the match. Hanson tags himself in the match when Fury gets too close to the corner he is in. Hanson goes for the pin but Marseglia kicks out. Here comes Kongo to work on Marseglia. He head-butts him and then sends him flying into the ropes. He charges at him but goes flying over the top rope. All three men fight it out outside the ring. Marseglia launches himself off the top rope to take them down. He and Hanson get back in the ring and fight it out. Hanson takes him down and here comes Kongo to take him down. He goes for the pin but Fury breaks it up. Kongo takes him down and Marseglia rolls out of the way. Fury rocks him with a kick and he goes down. Fury and Hanson are fighting it out in the corner. Fury takes him down with a neckbreaker and Marseglia starts fighting him. Marseglia takes him down with an impressive move and goes for the pin but Fury kicks out. Fury takes him down. Winner: Brian Fury

Mike Sydal/Zizou Middoux vs. C&C Wrestle Factory—the match starts off with the code of honor. Sydal and Coleman start off the match with Coleman taking him down with an arm drag. Coleman is working the left wrist of his opponent. Sydal gets to his feet only to get taken down with a dropkick. Coleman goes for a pin but Sydal kicks out. Here comes Cedric Alexander to work on Sydal. He goes for the pin but Sydal kicks out. Sydal tags in Middoux who quickly gets decimated by Cedric Alexander. Alexander goes for the pin but Middoux kicks out. Middoux flings Alexander into the ropes and Sydal kicks him when the referee isn’t looking. Alexander gets doubled teamed by the Party boys. Middoux goes for the pin but Alexander kicks out. They double team him again with a double dropkick. Sydal goes for the pin but Alexander kicks out. Sydal kicks him and goes for another pin but Alexander isn’t having it. Middoux goes for a pin but Coleman breaks it up. Sydal comes flying in to take out Coleman. Cedric takes them both down and tags in Coleman. Coleman cleans house and is taking down Middoux. He suplexes him and goes for a bridge pin but Middoux kicks out. Middoux is in the corner and Coleman goes charging at him but Middoux moves out of the way. Here comes Sydal and all three men are outside the ring. Sydal is on the apron stomping away and Cedric and Coleman make a wish with him and turn him into a cheerleader. Coleman follows up with a dropkick while dude was still sitting on the apron. This is why I love C&C Wrestle Factory. Alexander and Coleman are in the ring with Middoux and they are owning his ass. They nail him with Overtime. Winners: C&C Wrestle Factory

Nigel McGuinness is in the ring with Cary Silkin and CEO Joe Koff. They are talking about the Ring of Honor World Championship and how prestigious the title and the tournament are. Yes we get it, it’s important.

Jay Lethal vs. Sonjay Dutt—this is the first match of the world title tournament. The match gets started with the men shaking hands. They go for chain wrestling and lots of rollups and counter moves. He takes down Lethal with a shoulder block and follows up with a Hurricanrana. The fight goes to the outside and Dutt is dominating Lethal. He throws Lethal into the ring and goes for a pin but Lethal kicks out. He goes for an Octopus but Lethal is trying to fight out. Once he gets out of the submission hold he takes Dutt down. He goes for a pin but Dutt kicks out. Dutt chops Lethal before sending him flying into the corner. Lethal moves as Dutt charges at him and he follows up with a huge clothesline. He goes for the pin but Dutt kicks out. Lethal is working on the ribs of Dutt and Dutt is trying to elbow his way out of the hold. Lethal knocks him down again and goes for the pin but Dutt kicks out. Lethal slams him down and does a series of elbow drops. He slams Dutt’s face into the turnbuckle. He does a hard chop to him and then slaps the shit out of him. He sends him flying into the corner. Dutt trues to kick him but he fails. Lethal kicks him out of the ring and does a suicide dive. Both men are down as we go to commercial. Back from commercial and Dutt is trying to make a comeback but Lethal is literally blocking him. Dutt kicks him in the face and Lethal is still standing. Lethal goes for a Tombstone but Dutt counters with an amazing move. They trade blows back and forth. Dutt has him in the corner and delivers a big kick. He does a moonsault and goes for the pin but Lethal kicks out. While Dutt is talking to the crowd, Lethal tries to roll him up but Dutt clotheslines him. He goes for a springboard moonsault but misses. Lethal nails him with the Lethal Combination. He goes for the pin but Dutt kicks out. Lethal chops him and drops him on his face. He goes for the pin but Dutt kicks out. Lethal scoops him up and slams him down. Dutt nails him with a quick move. He dives off the top ropes and Lethal catches him with the knees. Lethal goes for the Lethal Injection but Dutt counters. The fight goes to the outside. Once both men are inside the ring, Dutt dives off the top ropes and goes for the pin but Lethal kicks out. Lethal goes for a piledriver but Dutt counters. Lethal nails him with the Lethal Injection. Winner: Jay Lethal
