Ring of Riley
With Riley Ross
Welcome back to Ring of Riley where I break down each segment and match of Ring of Honor. At the end of the review, I will talk about Riley’s Rewind which is the match that I cannot stop watching and Riley’s Regret which is the most cringe worthy moment of the hour long show. Also I will be awarding a top honor to a wrestler or wrestlers that stole the show; this honor is called Star of the Night. Opening up the show is the Steel Cage Warfare match from last week. Seriously loved seeing Kevin Steen destroy S.C.U.M. Nigel McGuinness and Kevin Kelly are on commentary.
Scott Parker and Shane Matthews (3.0) vs. TaDarius Thomas/ACH (Adrenaline Rush)—the match starts off with the code of honor. ACH kicks off the match with Scot Parker. They go for a lockup and ACH puts him in a side headlock and takes him down. Matthews blatantly cheats in front of the referee as he strikes ACH. Parker takes advantage of the distraction and finally tags in his partner. ACH is trying to fight his way out of his opponents’ corner as Parker comes back in the match. Finally Thomas gets tagged in and is working both of them. He delivers punishing kicks to Parker and goes for the pin but Parker kicks out. Here comes ACH off of the top ropes and he misses. Matthews spears him and Parker goes for the pin but ACH kicks out. TaDarius gets knocked off the apron. Matthews puts ACH in the Boston Crab but ACH gets out. ACH DDTS Parker and scores the win. Winner: Adrenaline Rush
Back from commercial and Nigel McGuinness is in the ring with microphone in hand. He talks about the injury of Jay Briscoe and how he was forced to strip Briscoe of the title. He talks about how that wasn’t easy or his decision to make. He goes on to talk about the tournament for the RoH World Champion. There will be sixteen participants and since S.C.U.M. is now gone they can focus on rebuilding bringing back honor. He says that he is going to focus on the tag team division. Here comes reDRagon to interrupt. Nigel calls them one of the best tag teams and Fish gets on the microphone to gloat and brag. Fish berates the fans in the crowd before turning his attention to Nigel McGuinness. He says that they are there to man up. He tells Nigel to throw out the proving grounds match they have with the Forever Hooligans and make it for the RoH tag team titles. Nigel makes it happen and here comes the American Wolves. Davey Richards tells them to take the Forever Hooligans seriously. Richards goes on to say that he wants a shot at whomever has the titles. Both teams get up in each other’s face before we cut to a commercial break.
Michael Elgin cuts a promo on the RoH World Champion title tournament. He says that he will fight hard for the title.
Silas Young vs. Adam Page—QT Marshall is ringside and is bitching about not being booked for tonight’s show. The winner of this match will earn a spot in the tournament. Marshall gets in the ring and addresses McGuinness. Dude take your sparkly little bathrobe and kick rocks. Page takes
the microphone out his hand and berates him. He tells Nigel that if it wills shut QT up, go ahead and put him in the match. Nigel agrees. Adam and QT shake hands but Silas refuses to do so. They knock Marshall down and Page sends Young flying. Page hits a Cross Body on Page. He dropkicks Marshal and goes for the pin but Marshall pulls him off of Page. Marshall sends Page flying from the top rope and Young rolls him up in a small package. Winner: Silas Young

Riley’s Rewind—this honor goes to the Forever Hooligans and reDRagon. This match is fucking fantastic as it is action packed and holy shit moments. Forever Hooligans gained a fan in me.
Riley’s Regret—this dishonor goes to RoH for not re-signing Jay Briscoe. Sorry but I’m still pissed at this.
Star of the Night—this honor goes to the Forever Hooligans. This is the first time I had ever seen them wrestle and holy shit this is what tag teams are made of.
