The Future Is Now

With John Mayer

Welcome to the latest edition of The Future is Now. Last week we saw un-likely allies in Corey Graves, Adrian Neville, and Kassius Ohno team up in a losing effort to The Wyatt Family. This week we have the final 1st round match in the NXT Women’s Championship Tournament. We will also see NXT Champion Bo Dallas and former champion Big E Langston. Let’s go down to the ring.

MATCH 1: BIG E LANGSTON VS AIDEN ENGLISH

Big E looks like he is in a foul mood. And this match ended just as quickly as it began as Langston wins with the Big Ending.

WINNER: BIG E LANGSTON

After the match Langston drops English with another Big Ending. After leaving the ring the fans chant One More Time and Langston does just that dropping English with a 3rd Big Ending.

Later tonight it is Kassius Ohno & Corey Graves vs Scott Dawson & Garrett Dylan to determine the #1 Contenders to the NXT Tag Team Championship.

Backstage segment with Emma who is more concerned with bubbles then her match with Aksana. She said she is going to win the tournament.

FIRST ROUND MATCH IN NXT WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT: EMMA VS AKSANA

I’m sorry why does Aksana still have a job? She cannot wrestle to save her life. Emma is just so bubbly. She is giving Kaitlyn a run for the money on being my favorite. Emma does her dance but Aksana yanks her down by her hair. Aksana is woman handling Emma in the beginning which surprises me. Emma counters Aksana and locks on The Dilemma to get the tapout.

WINNER: EMMA

Round 2 will see Paige vs Alicia Fox and Summer Rae vs Emma. 2 excellent matches in my books.

MATCH 3: DANTE DASH VS LEO KRUGER

They have been showing vignettes on this Leo Kruger guy and he scares me. Kruger startes off the match with come chops in the corner followed by going after the arm of Dash. Kruger is putting his focus on the left arm of Dash. Kruger hits The Slice lariat followed by locking on the CG3 for the second tapout of the night.

WINNER LEO KRUGER

We will see NXT Champion Bo Dallas in action next.

MATCH 4: MICKY KEEGAN VS BO DALLAS

Leo Kruger is still at ringside. Dallas has the advantage early but Keegan derails him with a belly to back suplex. However Dallas recovers and hits a Springboard Bulldog followed by his Belly to Belly for the 3 count.

WINNER: BO DALLAS

After the match Kruger comes in and attacks Keegan and has a stare off with Dallas. The main event is next.

MAIN EVENT: COREY GRAVES & KASSIUS OHNO VS SCOTT DAWSON & GARRETT DYLAN

Dawson and Dylan are managed by some French clown named Sylvester. Ohno and Dawson start off and Ohno works on Dawson’s arm. Quick tag to Graves and he works on the arm as well. A little trickery bring Ohno back into the match and yet another tag brings Graves back in. Ohno and Graves are working great as a team. Dawson FINALLY gets the tag into Dylan but that is short lived as Dawson tags back in to work on Graves. Now Dawson and Dylan are doing the quick tags as Dylan is back in as we go to break. Back from break and the quick tags between Dylan and Dawson continue. Dawson hits a big uppercut for 2. But then Graves is able to get the tag and he cleans house. Dawson and Dylan hit there finisher on Ohno but Graves breaks up the pin. Ohno still has fight in him that is for sure. I just noticed the turnbuckle pad in Dawson and Dylan’s corner is off. Ohno gets the tag into Graves and he takes over. Ohno takes out Dawson and Graves locks on Lucky 13 for another tapout.

WINNERS: COREY GRAVES & KASSIUS OHNO

There victory is short lived as The Wyatt Family comes out and attacks the winners. They are picking apart Ohno & Graves until Adrain Neville makes the save. Neville is taking apart The Wyatt’s until Dawson & Graves come back in and attack. This bring out William Regal to save the faces. However the numbers game became too much as The Wyatt’s along with Dawson & Dylan lay everyone out to end the show.

This week had 5 excellent matches including 3 very unique submission holds. Next week we will have the semi finals in the NXT Women’s Championship Tournament. Until next week you might need shades because the future is bright!
