With Riley Ross
Welcome back to Riley’s Corner. They are ‘live’ from San Antonio, Texas. Tonight’s show has Alberto Del Rio’s celebration for his World Heavy Weight Championship title win. On commentary we have JBL and Josh Matthews.
The festivities are kicking off the show. Before ADR get too comfortable with the microphone here comes Dolph Ziggler, AJ and of course Big E. Langston. Dolph implies that he might cash in the MITB briefcase. This is making Dolph look weak as fuck. If you cannot fight without the aid of Big E, then go become a male model somewhere. Here comes Big Show to glare and intimidate and Sheamus quickly follows. To be brutally honest, I zoned out when Sheamus was talking to ADR. He and ADR shake hands and then he offers to become a bouncer for the fiesta. Just when shit was about to get real either funny or ugly, Booker T comes out to stop the action. He makes a match for later tonight and the party begins. ADR asks Booker T for a Spinneroonie. Sheamus is then asked to dance and he complies. Okay yes we get it now can we have wrestling?
Kofi Kingston vs. Antonio Cesaro—This match again? Ugh! At least the recap from Monday night between Cesaro, Flair and the Miz made it better. I know these two men can put on a better match then this travesty they are giving us. The Miz is watching the match from backstage. Cesaro hits the Neutralizer and gets the win.
Here comes Epico, Primo and Rosa to insult the Miz. Excuse me assholes but the Miz has more talent in his pinky then you three douche nozzles combined.
Great Khali vs. Tensai—Great Khali is accompanied to the ring by Natalya. The Great Khali dropped an overhand slap on Tensai and got the win.
Team Hell No are shown backstage talking about Monday night. They are making fun of Cody Rhodes’ mustache before Randy Orton interrupts their bickering. Hmm Daniel Bryan before you make fun of Rhodes and his facial hair then you better check a mirror. I am pretty sure that I saw a couple of squirrels in there.
Team Hell No/Randy Orton vs. Team Rhodes Scholars/Wade Barrett—Kane and Rhodes start it off. He keeps Rhodes away from his corner so he tags in DB. DB misses a kick and Cody rolls to the corner to tag in Sandow. Back from commercial and Kane is in the matc and is isolated into his opponents corner. Barrett seems to be working well with Team Rhodes Scholars. Kane mounts a comeback as Cody Rhodes comes into the match. Randy and Daniel Bryan are encouraging Kane to make the tag. Sandow knocks DB off the apron and here comes the Apex Predator to take on Sandow. Rhodes while not the legal man hits the Cross Rhodes on Orton. Kane interrupts the pin. Orton hits the RKO on Sandow and picks up the victory. After the match DB is trying to get Orton into a group hug, even Kane wants one. Kane hugs Orton and DB gets into the action. Orton doesn’t look happy about that.
The Rock concert is being shown. Thank you WWE because I needed a laugh; however that time could have gone to talents deserving of air time. Maybe build up a match for the Royal Rumble.
The Miz vs. Primo—Primo is accompanied to the ring by Rosa and Epico. Primo is showing off his aggressive side as he dominates the Miz. As much as I dislike Primo and Epico I do think they are more talented than Jinder Mahal and Heath Slater. Finally the Miz has gained the upperhand. Big kick to the face of Primo; please wrestling gods let him kick the other two. Epico distracts the Miz and gets knocked the hell off the apron. Miz has the Figure 4 leg lock on Primo and wins. FUCK YEAH!!!! He poses with the military guys.
I have said this before and I will say it again if other guys can add new moves to their repertoire so can Cena. No fucking excuses to only know five wrestling moves. That’s why I cannot respect Cena’s in ring ability.
Kaitlyn, Layla and Alicia Fox are shown backstage talking. Booker T comes up to congratulate her on the win.
Kaitlyn vs. Aksana—A quick recap of Eve leaving the WWE. I think it’s unfair that Eve leaves and Aksana is still there. She brings nothing to the table. Nice takedown by Kaitlyn. Sorry but this is one of the weakest divas matches ever. Big spear from Kaitlyn and she wins.
Nice video montage for Mick Foley who will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. Congratulations Mick Foley, you truly deserve this honor. Thank you for entertaining us.
Another video from the Shield explaining why they attacked Foley on Monday night. All I hear is blah, blah, blah. Randy Orton and Sheamus are shown talking about them backstage. Orton says he doesn’t need help with the Shield.
Big Show/Dolph Ziggler vs. Sheamus/ADR—Big E and the always scowling AJ accompanied Ziggler to the ring. ADR and Ziggler start off the match. Sheamus and Big E almost fight outside the ring. Somehow AJ likes to involve herself in shit, she gets booted from ringside. Big E got ejected as well. Del Rio delivers a superb German Suplex to Ziggler. ADR tags in Sheamus and the Celtic Warrior goes to the top rope. Big Show shoves him off the rope. SHeamus climbs into the ring and Ziggler quickly assaults him. Big Show comes in and goes after Sheamus’ ankle. He tries to make a tag to his partner but Show clobbered him. Show delivers a headbutt to Sheamus and follows up with knees to the head. Sheamus kicks out of the pin. Show goes up to the second rope to drop down on Sheamus but the ginger moves out of the way. Both men get their tags in. Del Rio gets kicked in the head and the champ gets a near fall. He has the cross arm breaker locked on but Show comes in to save Ziggler. Sheamus delivers the White Noise to the Big Show and ADR follows it up with a kick to the head. Show gets water dumped on his head and he appears pissed. He walks off which gives Sheamus and ADR the victory via countout.
In closing, I found SmackDown to be lackluster tonight. The only highlights of the night were anything involving the Miz and Randy Orton. Match of the night goes to Miz and Team Hell No with Randy Orton. I give tonight’s episode a C+ due to it was pretty much filler. Hit me up on twitter@RileyRoss7 and or @Dibiaseangel. Make sure you all check out http://www.blogtalkradio.com/the-shark-attack-live. We’ll be airing Tuesday at 10pm ET Call in at (347) 945-6363. Have a good night and a better tomorrow.
